Astoria Bicentennial Committee Launches Song Writing Contest
Calling all songwriters and lyricist to put on your creative musical
hats for the Astoria Bicentennial Celebration. Astoria, the oldest US
settlement West of the Rockies will be celebrating its 200th
birthday in 2011 and every party needs music and a song. The committee is in
quest of a bicentennial theme song for the whole community to learn and sing.
